Student Interviews of Tour Guides

McMurrich JPS: Air & Space Museum Visit

Our Grade 6 classes were true ambassadors of our school community as they took part in a tour of the Air & Space Museum located in Downsview Park, where they were able to ask probing questions to learn more about the museum's history and those who volunteer to make it what it is today.


A special thanks to Ron and John, our tour guides for their enthusiasm and patience and
for sharing their insights and wisdom with the students. With the support from staff at Media Services and Ms. Papulkas from IT, students were engaged and able to integrate the use of new technology to conduct their interviews and make a photo diary through the use ipods and digital cameras. Students will be using Audacity and Photo Story to edit and compile their learning. Keep visiting this blog as it will be updated over the next two weeks with the images and interviews conducted by the students. Also, a few student reflections of their learning experiences will be included. Enjoy :o)
